The issue is that the observables like position, momentum, energy, don't really capture the world of quantum states. Even when we increase the state space to have more than one particle (!), causality remains intact. The past completely determines the present and future of this point. Now, the laws of quantum mechanics tells us how this point on the infinite dimensional sphere changes with time. ) which is an infinitely long list (or, in some cases, a continuum rather than a list). Observables like position of the particle, it's momentum, or it's energy, are determined by rotating that sphere to a particular orientation, and reading the coordinates (probability 1, probability 2.

It is a point located on an infinite dimensional sphere. In contrast, the quantum state of single particle is already much more complex. You could think of the state of the system as a point in 2N dimensional space, where instead of coordinates like (x,y,z) we may have (position 1, momentum 1, position 2, momentum 2.

It's just a list of 2*N numbers, and all the numbers have meanings that are easy to understand. In classical physics, the state of a system of N particles looks like a list containing the position and momentum of each particle at a particular time. We use mathematics to handle this additional complexity. The only issue is that "quantum states" are more subtle and complicated than we expect based on macroscopic daily life. I would not call it "invisible." The quantum mechanical laws for how quantum states evolve with time are extremely well tested experimentally. We make our world significant by the courage of our questions and by the depth of our answers.
